As a consequence I developed classic poor posture degeneration of the L6 lumbar region, with disc compression touching the root nerves and causing sciatica pain, and chronic lumbar discomfort. In 2000, I was off work for 3 months with extreme back pain. After extensive physiotherapy, I returned to work under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
